Kay Earline Vanderford Nursing Scholarship
The Kay Earline Vanderford Nursing Scholarship Fund was established in 2011 in loving memory of Kay Earline Vanderford by her son Douglas Vanderford. A graduate of Kellogg Community College’s nursing program, Kay Earline Vanderford worked as a LPN for several years at area nursing homes. She served the Homer and Litchfield communities most of her life and was very compassionate toward her patients.
The scholarship financially assists those who are called to enter the field of nursing. It is available to graduating students in the greater Homer Area.
A yearly scholarship of approximately $500 may be renewed upon meeting certain requirements. Click here for the scholarship application.
