Paul & Maurine Sinclair Scholarship & Youth Fund
This fund was established by the estate of Maurine Sinclair. Paul and Maurine Sinclair were both raised in Homer and graduated from Homer High School. Mr Sinclair had a career in banking and Mrs Sinclair was a kindergarten teacher. Youth were always important to the Sinclairs. They hosted several foreign exchange students in their home and Mrs Sinclair was the first guardian of the Campfire Girls of Homer.
Grants from the fund may be used for a scholarship for a Homer High School graduate and/or programs benefiting the youth of Homer. A $500 scholarship will be awarded to a Homer High School graduate.
